Created in 2026
This ceramic sculpture is inspired by a lady’s slipper orchid flower and a bumblebee. In nature, the interaction between flowers and insects helps in the process of growth and reproduction. In this work, I connect this natural process with human fertility. The form of the flower represents the female aspect, and the bumblebee represents the male aspect. The sculpture shows how life begins through connection and interaction. This process is natural and shared by many living beings. Through this work, I want to show the beauty of nature’s system and how life grows through simple and natural relationships.
